Digital mocks that behave like the real exam

Nobody should lose marks to the software. Profion runs bilingual practice papers in the on-screen format WJEC and Eduqas candidates now sit, so by the time it counts the interface is the boring part.

No card details. Nothing renews automatically.

What it does

Three things a department needs before the first digital exam

Digital assessment is arriving subject by subject under Qualified for the Future. The risk is not the content, it is the first time a learner meets an unfamiliar screen under timed conditions.

The interface is the point

The same on-screen furniture as the live assessment: question navigator, flag for review, countdown, and the question types learners actually meet. Practise the software until it is unremarkable.

One paper, two languages

Every question is authored in Welsh and English on the same paper. A learner switches language mid-question without losing an answer, and you see both versions while you build.

Marking that hands back a weekend

Objective questions are marked on submit. Extended answers open in one screen with the mark scheme beside the response, and topic gaps come out as a list you can teach from on Monday.

Question banks

Written from the specification, not photocopied from a paper

Nothing in the bank is a copy of a live or past paper. Questions are written from the specification to the same style and demand by people who mark the real thing, so your department can use them without a copyright problem.

Bring your own questions

Author your own in both languages in the builder, or import a bank you already hold as JSON. Your questions stay yours.

Question types being built

  • Multiple choice
  • Multiple response
  • Drag to match and order

For schools

A department can be running mocks inside a week

  1. 01

    Tell us what you teach

Subject, board, year group, and whether you need Welsh medium, English medium or both.

  2. 02

We load your groups and a first paper

Send a class list as CSV, or connect Google or Microsoft sign-in. We build the first practice paper with you.

  3. 03

Your class sits it, you read the gaps

Run it under exam conditions in a browser on the devices you already have. Marks and topic gaps are waiting when the paper closes.

The practical answers

What does it cost?
Pricing is per department per academic year, quoted on request. Autumn 2026 pilot places carry no charge while the banks are built with departments, and nothing renews automatically.
What do we need to run it?
A current browser. It works on managed Windows, Chromebooks and iPads with nothing to install.
Who controls the learner data?
Your school does. Profion processes it on your written instructions under a UK GDPR Article 28 agreement, and learner data is deleted within 90 days of a subscription ending.
How do staff sign in?
Work email and password, or Google and Microsoft single sign-on if your school already uses one.
